Nobody who worked this Fatal-4-Way tag match will look back on it as a banner moment for their careers. Shotzi and Xia Li looked lost out there, and it's safe to assume that exactly none of these duos will be teams for too much longer. That's how bad the match was.

Being fair, WWE needed a contingency plan for the Women's Tag Title tourney following Gigi Dolin's sudden injury, but this wasn't good. Far from it, in fact. There's no point in pretending otherwise, because top brass need to know that thrown-together pairings working awkward messes like this won't cut it for the division.

Can we have more full-time teams, please? It ain't much to ask.

Worse, the next bout's result became obvious as soon as Sonya Deville and Natalya won the four-way. There was just no way WWE were ever going to book Sonya/Nattie vs. IYO SKY and Dakota Kai in the finals, which meant Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah had an open goal to hit.
