3. LA Knight’s Promo

Speaking of top promos.

LA Knight is doing a remarkable job of being right with what he says about Bray Wyatt's spooky shenanigans but also still getting heat from crowds. That's not an easy balancing act. Making justifiable points is dangerous ground for villains to walk on, and yet Knight is doing it with aplomb.

Here, he smashed an in-ring promo out of the park then worked more magic with Bray backstage. Both bits, including that 'lights out' skit later in the show, worked. They also nudged the narrative forwards without forcing fans to sit through yet another speech from Wyatt.

That's not meant as criticism of Bray's performances (they've been great), it's just an observation. He couldn't keep saying the same things over and over and over again without boredom setting in. Having LA do the talking this week was a refreshing change of pace.
