5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Jan 6)

Downs...

3. Let The Moment Breathe!

Hit Row Ricochet

Ricochet qualifying for the Rumble is fine. Hell, even the two-minute length for his match vs. Top Dolla is forgivable. However, did Braun Strowman need to get involved here? Yes, he was returning the favour to Ricochet, but Hit Row's heelish antics needed some breathing space they didn't get.

Braun squashed their moment.

Top Dolla, Ashante Adonis and B-FAB battered then berated Rico post-match, then cowered when Strowman came out for the save. Being honest, it might've been better had they at least tried to take the fight to him and come out worse. By running away, they lost the lustre they'd just built.

This is really last chance saloon for Hit Row. They haven't been great since returning to the company last year, and it'll be agony for the trio if they flop just as much as heels as they did playing babyface. Hopefully, things pan out for them.
