Some on socials are bitching about Sami Zayn staring at the lights on SmackDown. Fair enough, but this wasn't exactly some decisive, clean loss in a few short minutes to Solo Sikoa. Jimmy Uso was largely responsible for his old stablemate's woes, and that keeps Sami's story ticking along.

The writers did a neat job when spotlighting that Zayn, as a Bloodline outcast, is up against the entire family. He's outnumbered, and needs a bit of help to deal with that or he'll have to keep working some hit-and-run tactics. Meanwhile, Kevin Owens is handling business a bit better over on Raw.

No prizes for guessing where this is going.

Sikoa vs. Zayn achieved three things: Solo looked aggressive and accomplished in-ring again, Sami blatantly needs KO's help, and Roman Reigns is fuming that his troops couldn't get the job done and deal with the "Sami Zayn problem" once and for all.
