SmackDown was pretty much a one match show, at least when it comes to what it offered in-ring. The main event Fatal-4-Way for the Intercontinental Title was an all-action cracker that showed what happens when WWE put four guys this talented inside the ring, give them some time and let them structure the match themselves.

This was good. Damn good.

Everyone was fired up, and the finishing stretch (in particular) is the kind that'll play before booming crowd noise when WWE re-introduce fans to TV in mid-July. This is exactly the kind of bout they need to put on that 16 July edition of SmackDown - it'd rock the house.

Apollo Crews filled the cowardly/lucky heel quota, Sami Zayn desperately tried to regain his baby and had some great spots, Kevin Owens looked like a million bucks generally and Big E would've won had it not been for Aleister Black's return. That leads nicely onto...
