5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 22)
4. Sonya Beats Mandy
Whilst yours truly does still think this mixed tag could've been saved for Backlash, it was fun for what it was. Plus, Sonya Deville is absolutely smashing it in the heel role these days, and both she and Mandy Rose will only develop sweeter chemistry the more they work against one another.
Their grudge is a major plus point for SmackDown's female ranks.
The pair exhibit good levels of intensity whenever they're in the ring together, and the story being told that Deville has Mandy's number just works. WWE should beat that one until they can beat it no more - this isn't the kind of feud that needs some babyface happy ending for Rose. She must help Sonya get to that next level.
Nobody should have a problem with Dolph Ziggler selling his ass off for Otis or the boys providing background music for the women either. It's nice to see the ladies take centre stage as the focal point in some inter-gender shenanigans for a change.
