5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 22)
Ups...
5. Bayley Cheats
Last night's SmackDown proved that good heels should always endeavour to cheat whenever they bloody well can. They're heels - it's what they do, and Bayley choosing to hold the ropes so she'd gain an advantage over Charlotte Flair is precisely the kind of sh*thousery she should get up to.
Laughing about it like Ted DiBiase was also the icing on the cake.
The Bayley vs. Charlotte match had nice pacing. It was one of the better matches Bayley has had since becoming SmackDown Women's Champ (which isn't a surprise when Flair is one of the more consistent workers WWE has) too, and the sudden ending actually worked out well.
Compare this to Jeff Hardy's later roll-up win over Sheamus; Jeff is a babyface, so it's a little shaky that he's relying on the element of surprise. Meanwhile, morally-bankrupt villain Bayley doesn't care what people think about things. A win's a win to her, and she did it all without the help of Sasha Banks.
