Here's that explanation.

Triple H was lauded for bringing back WarGames last year and rescuing Survivor Series from Raw vs. SmackDown hell and those turgid 'Champ vs. Champ' exhibitions. The Bloodline narrative deserved the double cage gimmick, but can the same really be said for anything this year?

The men's side if defo better than the women's. Judgment Day has longevity going in, and at least some of the babyfaces have a reason to be p*ssed off. Drew McIntyre's heel turn keeps things interesting on that front too. The women...don't have any of that, sadly.

Their justification for stepping foot inside WarGames feels too weak, and Becky Lynch being revealed as the face team's fourth member hasn't changed that. On Becks, here's a question: Why? Why would she be so willing to suddenly team up with Charlotte Flair? Will creative even bother to reference that?

It's all a bit last-minute.
