5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 21)

2. Did The Business, But…

Braun Strowman Omos

There was nothing especially wrong with the standoff between big Braun Strowman and the even bigger Omos from this week's show. No, it was a perfectly fine segment that teased this battle of monsters then hinted at Omos being the stronger man by shoving Strowman out of the ring.

However, it definitely feels like Triple H is booking himself into a corner with this feud. Omos will be neutered if Braun wins, whereas Strowman's grand comeback will come across as pointless if he stares up into the Saudi sky come 5 November at Crown Jewel.

Hmm.

Nothing really happened here either. Yours truly isn't quite sure why WWE dedicated so much social media space to hyping up this showdown through the week when it resulted in Omos pushing, Braun speaking in his man mountain voice and MVP smiling.
