Ups...

5. Way Better Than Expected

This was a lovely surprise.

Anyone who reads these articles weekly will know how little regard this writer has for the women's tag division. Temporary duos like Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi don't do much to sell the scene as important, and that's why this match was such a shock treat.

Credit where credit is due: Raquel, Shotzi, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY pulled the nose up on their mini-feud by delivering a fine scuffle here. The closing stretch, in particular, was hot sh*t. Damage CTRL were always retaining, of course, but the match was way better than anyone expected going in.

Shotzi merits a special word too. This is the best she's looked on WWE's main roster since jumping up from NXT, and it's great to see her having fun out there after some real poor performances. Could this guy be wrong about the Women's Tag Title picture? Perish the thought!*

*Hopefully!
