5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 27 - Results & Review)

Ups...

5. Finally Some Hints Of Change?

Bianca Belair

So, Bianca Belair smashed this.

Her promo wasn't an easy spot to be in. The 'EST' had to go out there and warm the crowd up by passionately selling her bid for revenge vs. Damage CTRL, and she had to try lace the speech with several hints that a heel turn may be incoming. To her credit, Belair nailed every beat.

If everyone's being honest, Bianca has never been the best on the mic. She's hardly bad by any means, but rarely comes out of her shell to deliver anything impactful. Most of that is done in-ring during actual matches. On Friday, Belair turned things upside down by teasing much-needed character tweaks and selling her hatred of Bayley's crew.

Now, Bianca is slated for a title crack at IYO SKY come Crown Jewel. This fan would like to see SKY working with some fresher opponents during her title reign, but it'd be an outright lie to suggest she and Belair will tank in Saudi. They'll put on a top match, no doubt.
