5 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dark (Aug 11)

Ups...

5. Private Party vs. Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr.

Private Party
AEW

Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr. have taken to aping the Hollywood Blondes' signature camera taunt. A curious move, though they were able dance partners in this Private Party showcase, with Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen out to get in, get their sh*t in, and get out.

This wasn't a pure squash, though the clear focus was making Private Party look as eye-catching as possible. It succeeded in doing so. Quen and Kassidy demonstrated increased fluidity with none of their rough edges coming to the forefront, running through flips, dips, and dives as if they were second nature, highlighting their recent improvements.

Private Party took the win with their big splash/leg drop combo, recovering from the previous week's defeat.
