5 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dark (Aug 11)

4. Pineapple Pete, Corey Hollis and Aaron Solow vs. Jurassic Express

Pineapple Pete hit Twitter to reveal this would be his last AEW match for a while shortly after Dark had aired. He has had a good little run as an enhancement talent here, particularly when he was positioned opposite Chris Jericho, so fair play to him for making the most of his shot.

The match was the Marko Stunt show. This means you should skip it if Jurassic Express' diminutive scrapper boils your p*ss, though it was good nonetheless. Stunt started and ended the bout as Jurassic controlled the enhancement talents prior to the inevitable heel control period. Jungle Boy sold well to build to Marko's hot tag and the wee man kicked the tar out of everyone, got saved by his partners when the numbers game came into play, and somehow hit Pete with a Razor's Edge (!) despite the size discrepancy. A 450 splash was enough to seal the deal.

Dark is a good platform to build Marko up on, as Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy remain Jurassic's bigger focus, and this was a fun outing.
