5 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dark (Jan 19)

4. SNAKEMAN's Had Enough

Serpentico Rey Fenix
AEW

Chaos Project's offensive style is starting to grate on Serpentico, with SNAKEMAN starting to get annoyed with Luther for throwing him around the ring like an infantryman would launch a grenade. This played into last night's main event with Lucha Brothers. Serp kept protesting Luther's sluggishness, as each hurts him almost as much as it hurts the opponent, giving the bout a neat story point to build around.

Beyond this, the bout was roughly what you'd expect. Fast-flowing, fun, and fluid, particularly when Serpentico was in with Fenix and/or Penta, it was one of the most enjoyable things on this two-hour card. SNAKEMAN ate the pin following the double stomp/package piledriver combo.
