3. “Jeff Hardly”

Yikes, this was bad.

First of all, what was up with Matt and Jeff Hardy going through the motions by running through Jeff's possible opponents in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament? That was as bland a subject matter as the brothers could've been handed, and they're hardly the kind who'll take something like that and run with it anyway.

Then, making matters worse, The Elite came out looking like absolute dorks when Bobby Fish "hilariously" called one of them, "Jeff Hardly". Honestly, can you imagine the response if that sort of line had been uttered in certain other companies? Twitter would be quick to shoot it down.

Surely these foes could've been given better material than this? Their back-to-back promos lacked energy - it was almost like they were getting ready to leave when someone backstage said, 'Hey, we almost forgot about these promos. Can you do them now before hitting the hotel?'.
