Downs...

4. The Baddies

This might be a personal opinion more than a well-rounded view.

The Baddies defo deserve some time to gel and find their footing on-screen, but it's taking yours truly a minute to get onboard with the thought of Jade Cargill being part of a faction rather than a standalone star. Her entire character seems custom-built to stand in the spotlight solo, after all.

Rampage's six-woman match was a pretty unnecessary add-on for the show, being honest. Also, who else could've done without Willow Nightingale getting squashed? She has serious potential, and she's someone AEW could rely on over in the ROH Women's Title division again soon.

Finally, this is worth saying to Tony Khan: Mr. Khan, not everybody on your roster needs to be part of a faction. In fact, talents like Cargill shouldn't have any friends at all. It's kinda weird to see her pointing to extras in the crowd and calling them her "beautiful Baddies".

Not feeling it so far.
