5 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Sep 24)

Ups...

5. Pulling The Nose Up

Anna Jay
AEW

Last week, this article was rather hard on Anna Jay's match with The Bunny. The psychology of Bunny hammering Jay's previously-injured shoulder got praise, but that was about it. Thankfully, Anna vs. Penelope Ford was much better. Or, at least, much slicker.

This was much more like it.

Women like Jay and Tay Conti (who performed a run-in at the end) will be relied upon to start motoring up the card so they can eventually challenge Britt Baker. Granted, they're a wee while off doing that, but they're getting some decent ring time during matches to show what they can do and hone their skills.

This is what Rampage should be about - it should be a place where those just outside the title scenes can get some valuable minutes in. All four women (Jay, Conti, Ford and Bunny) should be relishing their upcoming tag encounter and looking to turn some heads.
