5 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Sep 24)

4. Miro Takes No Sh*t

Miro Sammy Guevara
AEW

Miro has been turning heads for a while now.

The reigning TNT Champ has put that 'Best Man' sh*te in the rear view mirror to become a titan of AEW's product. Last week, a game Sammy Guevara was installed as Miro's next challenger, and there's deserved anticipation for that one-on-one. These guys could do awesome things together on pay-per-view, for example.

Here, Sammy and Fuego Del Sol came out for Guevara's cue card bit. Instead of just letting that play out as a 60-second distraction though, AEW's bookers had Miro roll through the curtain to toss Fuego off the stage and then stretch Sammy in his 'Game Over' submission as the announcers screamed blue murder.

Honestly, this fan can't get enough of Miro being a brute. This is exactly how WWE should've used him. His promos are simple and to-the-point, his matches are well-structured so that he always looks physically-imposing, and he just comes across as such a bad ass all the time.
