5 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Jul 14)

1. The Point Was?

For whatever reason, Rhino and Hernandez have been at horns with one another, refusing to back down from each other in an arm wrestling challenge. Why? It's never been fully explained. However, this week saw the duo battling it out in a bit of a different scenario, scrapping outside in what appeared to be the same area Sami Callihan and Ken Shamrock had their cinematic brawl during part one of Rebellion this past April.

The two spent around four minutes choking each other with Hernandez's bandana, throwing each other into a truck, and using trash cans and low blows to gain the upper hand over the other, all just to walk home with the money 'Supermex' had made from his previous arm wrestling contests. Even though Rhino had technically defeated the former LAX man in the final contest, it only came after a distraction from Moose, so 'The War Machine' was in no way entitled to a share of the money made by the former World Tag Team Champion. It was made far more pointless when the pair just decided to split the money half and half.

It was just a meaningless scrap between two big lads that could have easily been a great time had it been an actual match. Now that they've come to a mutual agreement post-match however, perhaps we'll see the two behemoths put their differences aside to forge an alliance. It'll no doubt be far better than whatever's been going on thus far.
