5 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's Impact Wrestling (Mar 15)

Ups...

5. A New Team Has Entered

The whole story between Eddie Edwards and Eli Drake up until this point has been odd to say the least. It began on a bit of a high before going downhill in the weeks that followed, mainly due to the latter being rather hypocritical towards hardcore wrestling.

On this week’s episode, the pair had their first match as an official tag team against The Desi Hit Squad. Rohit Raju and Raj Singh were dominant for the bulk of the match to the surprise of many, showing that they can actually do the work in the ring if they’re allowed to. Of course, they wouldn’t come out victorious. Why? Because Eli gave Eddie a weapon to use in the form of Kenny the kendo stick.

Surely, this means Eli Drake is now over his hatred of hardcore wrestling and has found a new love for it instead. It also adds another team to the already stacked tag team division in Impact. Let’s just hope they don’t get lost in the shuffle.
