5 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's Impact Wrestling (Mar 15)

4. One More Match

By now, the rivalry between former tag champs The LAX and current champs The Lucha Bros could’ve been well and truly over. They produced some excellent matches at both Homecoming and on an episode of Impact in Mexico, and the story between them was quite a personal one. Until the foreseeable future, the two units will be continuing to feud.

Is there anyone who’s overly fussed by this? You know you won’t be seeing a single bad match between any of the four involved, so there’s nothing not to be enjoying here. It looks as if their next championship outing will be contested as a Street Fight, stemming from Konnan feeling disrespected by Pentagon Jr. and Fenix this week.

Of course, you could argue the fact that this takes away from some of the other teams receiving a tag title match. In reality though, the majority of the other teams have other things going on at the moment, preventing them from entering a full-blown rivalry with The Lucha Bros. When the time is right, expect to see the likes of Jake and Dave Crist mixing back into the fold. Could you imagine a three way between those three teams?
