1. Jey’s Dance Card Just Became Free… Sort Of

No one expected Jey Uso’s Intercontinental Championship reign to be a lengthy one, but the unceremonious end came with a clear direction for his next feud.

Uso lost his rematch against Bron Breakker in an interference-heavy main event that saw the Bloodline invade Raw and directly cost Jey his title when Jacob Fatu superkicked his cousin. The match itself was a step down from their excellent IC title bout last month, but it still was chugging along… until the Bloodline got involved.

Match quality, however, is secondary to the storyline development. By costing Jey his first singles title, Solo Sikoa and company have given Uso the nudge he needed to reconcile with Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns. The fractured remnants of the original Bloodline are still coming to terms with dealing with the new faction, and they are slowly realizing that they can’t go it alone. Costing Jey the IC title only drives him closer to Roman and Jimmy, which would unify the original group.

From there, they would just need one more former member to complete the puzzle, and Jey is the guy to bring him along. It’s a great story, and now it’s off to the next chapter.
