5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (21 Oct - Results & Review)

3. A Banana Peel Win

WWE Raw New Day R-Truth
WWE

New Day is one of the most successful tag teams in WWE history. They have won tag titles left, right, and center during the past decade. But one miracle they couldn’t pull off Monday night was having a good match with AOP.

Akam and Rezar stumbled about during most of the bout, struggling to get into position for Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods’ offense. It was bad enough that you couldn’t get into the match because you could see the strings every few moments.

And just to make it worse, New Day got the win when Rezar got distracted by R-Truth attacking Karrion Kross and Kofi rolled him up. Yep, the multi-time tag champs eked out a win with a rollup. Bad match, bad finish. At least the right team won.
