5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (21 Oct - Results & Review)

3. LWO & Creeds Make Magic

If WWE is serious about presenting their tag team division as a focal point on Raw, they could do a lot worse than pitting the LWO against American Made.

Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee tangled with Julius and Brutus Creed as part of the World Tag Team Championship number one contender’s tournament on Raw, and the four of them gelled exceptionally well. The luchadors’ speed and high-flying tactics meshed incredibly well with the Creeds’ brute strength and sneaky athleticism.

Dragon Lee in particular has started to look more like the guy he was billed to be when he debuted in NXT, so hopefully WWE’s strange booking of the young superstar has finally been corrected. The Creed Brothers continue to be tremendous when they get to showcase their range of talent in the ring. And Mysterio is simply ageless at this point.

A solid, competitive match that ended with the LWO moving on, which sets up an interesting situation for next week’s triple threat with the War Raiders and New Day, all to challenge the Judgment Day.
