5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (4 Dec - Results & Review)

Downs…

4. Jury’s Out On Truth

R-Truth’s big return to WWE at Survivor Series obviously was overshadowed by some guy from Chicago showing up to work after a decade off, but Truth already has had more camera time than him.

For the second week in a row, Truth showed up in the Judgment Day’s clubhouse, this time bringing an old picture tube TV with him (last week, it was powdered jellyrolls). Hijinks and hilarity ensued.

Truth then came out and sat at ringside during JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio’s tag match against the Creed Brothers, though he didn’t do much of anything, other than encourage the Judgment Day.

It seems like WWE is trying to lighten up the heel stable a bit, or they’re building up to the group destroying Truth to get a huge reaction. Either way, fans’ enjoyment of these segments will depend on their individual tastes. If they love Truth’s antics and think he’s always hilarious, they’re all-in for this. If not, they probably are rolling their eyes at the major heel stable on Raw having to deal with a comedy character who hasn’t been consistently funny in years.
