1. Actions Have Consequences

No matter how much sense various wrestlers make when criticizing CM Punk, it’s always amazing how fans are willing to overlook all of it and just cheer their hero.

Punk opened Raw and hit on a theme about Drew McIntyre: actions have consequences. In this case, Drew’s obsession with Punk led to the Second City Saint repeatedly costing McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship – at WrestleMania 40, at Clash at the Castle, and then Saturday at Money in the Bank.

But Punk’s battle cry got twisted around on him by Seth Rollins, who was collateral damage in Punk’s rage-filled revenge at MITB. Rollins rightly pointed out that Punk interjected himself into Seth’s business – something he warned against months earlier – and cost him the world title and future shots at the strap.

Even in trying to apologize, Punk was unable to hide his disdain for Rollins (and still fans rallied behind him, which is incredible). Finally, Rollins issued another warning to Punk: once he’s cleared, the Visionary is going to come for him. Actions, as he said, have consequences.

And the chaos Punk created at Money in the Bank has plenty of fallout. Now, Rollins has been folded into this Punk/McIntyre feud, which could lead in a few different directions. For Punk, this is all his own making, and he's not even ready to step back into the ring.
