5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 24)

Ups…

5. At Least She Ditched The Mask

When we last saw Nikki ASH, she was sitting in the corner of the ring after yet another loss, sobbing and ripping off her mask.

Monday night, Nikki Cross returned, playing a variation of the Tasmanian Devil character longtime fans likely remember from NXT’s Sanity. Cross attacked everyone ringside during and after the main event pitting Bianca Belair against Bayley. Nikki took out all of Damage CTRL, Belair and Bayley in her whirlwind.

While it was very reminiscent of the Nikki of old, it’s hard to ignore just how futile she was before she left just a few short weeks ago. It’s not like she left on top with an injury. Nikki hasn’t won a match on Raw or a PLE since October 2021.

However, we’ll give this a very tepid “up” because Nikki finally has ditched the superhero gimmick to something that suits her better.
