2. This Isn’t Working

Man, you've to feel kinda feel sorry for Chelsea Green, because it’s like WWE has gone out of its way to make her Women’s United States Title reign difficult. Michin wasn’t a good first challenger, especially considering Chelsea beat her to win the gold at Saturday Night's Main Event, and now Zelina Vega is a chore too. Worse, Green looks set to miss out on WrestleMania 41 despite being one of the blue brand's most entertaining midcard acts.

Look, WWE can't fit everyone on the weekender (they're trying, right enough!), but Chelsea can't be chuffed to look over and see Women's Intercontinental Champ and Raw counterpart Valkyria plucked out of singles and placed into a tag just so she's featured. Now, Green moves on to a nothing six-woman tag on next week's so-called "WrestleMania SmackDown" alongside her buddies Piper and Alba.

They'll work vs. Vega, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. Cool, but it's hard to see why Vega benefits from beating Green via countout here. She's hardly coming across as a strong challenger worthy of going after the belt. Sure, everyone gets the story they’re trying to tell with Green needing her ‘Secret Her-vice’ to fight her battles, but...boo to wishy washy booking.

This was definitely that.

The Women's US Title has quickly become an afterthought when it should be presented as something worth caring about. Hunter has a champion who gets a reaction from fans, has personality and works as comedic heel foil, but he's content to flush that down the drain in favour of short-term rivalries that achieve nothing.

Someone stage a creative intervention. Quick.
