Nobody knows how to put a foot in it then try to weasel out of things like Paul Heyman. Bobby Heenan was a master back in the day, and Heyman has continued 'Brain's' fine work in the modern era. On Friday, he accidentally admitted to nick Aldis that he hasn't talked to Roman Reigns since WrestleMania. So, it was he who sneakily pulled Roman from the Draft after all.

Later, Paul tried to get Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to pull themselves out of a tag match vs. Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga at Backlash. In a clever moment, Heyman said he can't be held responsible for what The Bloodline do. His overall performance turned an otherwise bland "RKO Show" into something that helped sell the PLE.

What a pro.

The intrigue behind Solo's mutiny and Paul unraveling before everyone's very eyes is one of SmackDown's best stories at the moment. The Bloodline hasn't always been perfect, and the group might never reach the heights of yesteryear again, but creative deserves massive praise for keeping things ticking along.
