2. Solo Sikoa Going After Cody…Again?

Firstly, it is neat to see Solo Sikoa back on TV, because that likely means we’ll get some closure on the frost between him and Jacob Fatu soon. Or, maybe Triple H wants to go in another direction and keep the New Bloodline band together a while longer. Either way, Solo attacking Cody Rhodes means there’s yet another match coming between those guys. Unless something drastic happens, this will be ice cold at Elimination Chamber.
Assuming that's the plan, of course. Chamber is the next PLE on the schedule, and Rhodes didn't have anything else going on post-Kevin Owens. The problem? Sikoa has lost to Cody multiple times, then Roman Reigns shoved him further away from the main event picture during Raw’s debut on Netflix. Ignoring all of that for yet another match vs. Rhodes is...a choice.
Let’s see where this goes, but it’s a bit middle of the road for the hottest portion of the year and comes across as a re-run of prior business more than anything fresh. Are WWE really that short of quickfire opponents for Cody? Sikoa walking out in front of a miffed Fatu then coming back to go after Rhodes is literally the least interesting way creative could've gone about things.
Perhaps The Rock is behind all of this, who knows? That sounds like wishful thinking given reports about his lack of involvement come April. Fingers crossed WWE have something bigger in mind, because the last thing Solo needs is to stare at the lights in a featured spot before WrestleMania 41.
