There's a huge smile on this guy's face. Why? Well, Damian Priest and Santos Escobar successfully pulled the nose up on this ongoing Judgment Day vs. LWO narrative. Those boys have chemistry together, and they proved it on SmackDown. That bodes well for the upcoming tag involving Rey Mysterio and Bad Bunny at Backlash.

Priest and Escobar showed up to work on Friday night, and their match was a sizeable step in the right direction for this entire story. Hell, WWE even managed to tease Zelina Vega as Rhea Ripley's next SmackDown Women's Title rival by having Vega hit a hurricanrana on the champ mid-match.

That's a win.

The whole segment was a win though. Last week's Judgment Promo and tag match sagged, so it's sweet to see things improve. Everyone would've been very worried about Backlash had Priest and Santos struggled to gel here.
