2. The Subtle Differences

Of course, there's some tension on the other side too. There always has been! Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are the best of buds now, but that hasn't been the case since some guy called El Generico and some guy called Kevin Steen worked on/off friendship in Ring Of Honor.

Sami, perhaps because of how his Bloodline story played out, is cautious and worried about keeping his cool. He encouraged Riddle to do the same before Matt's bout vs. Solo Sikoa. Meanwhile, KO is more into kicking doors down and fighting anyone who looks at him sideways.

There are subtle differences coming to the fore in all of the Undisputed Tag Champ's promo segments. You know where that leads in the end: Owens turns on Sami, or Zayn turns on Kev. WWE has a ton of content to burn through before reaching that point, of course.

Whether in-ring or backstage, these guys know how to lace skits with subtlety.
