5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 16)

2. Roman Reigns Walks Away

If Bayley is at her best when she's serious, then Roman Reigns is at his finest when he's a dismissive, arrogant piece of sh*t. SmackDown opened with a straightforward victory speech for the Universal Champ, then Roman dissed Cesaro by walking away as soon as he spotted the Swiss star going for a microphone.

Why would Reigns wait to hear what he had to say?

This was spot on characterisation. Roman just pinned Edge and Daniel Bryan (one man a Hall Of Famer and the other a future HOF'er) at the same time in Tampa last weekend, so he should feel like his crap doesn't stink right now. Such hubris will be his downfall eventually.

Cesaro's reaction to this disrespect was also awesome. He took Roman's slap in the face to heart, and looked like he was ready to kick some ass. This segment was a winner from beginning to end, and it set the tone for what should b a fun mini-feud (if WWE go through with it).
