5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 2)

2. Not Cesaro's Strength

Yikes.

Cesaro is legitimately one of the best in-ring workers walking the planet. He's so good between the ropes, in fact, that his biggest cheerleaders forget one thing: PROMOS ARE KING IN THIS COMPANY. Nobody could've watched this week's SmackDown and blamed WWE for constantly overlooking the Swiss swing artist.

His delivery was shaky, his lines rather flat and he was totally blown out of the water by Seth Rollins' poise and charisma. That's not a pleasing thing to type, but it's the truth. Cesaro doesn't really cut it in these extended back-and-forth verbal exchange skits, and he likely never will.

The only saving grace here is that his WrestleMania match with Rollins will still be killer. Sadly, even that won't be enough to sway WWE into giving the guy a proper headline push later this spring and into the summer. Are they wrong? Nah - that's the upsetting thing.
