5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Feb 2 - Results & Review)

1. Bayley Calling Out Damage CTRL

Somehow, The Rock returning doesn't bag top spot this week.

That's because Bayley deserves all the praise in the world for her promo ditching Damage CTRL then challenging IYO SKY to a title match at WrestleMania. There's some chat online about this being "too obvious". Look, sometimes the most obvious play is the best one, and this is defo one of those situations.

Bayley's promo (which included some Japanese lines) was as strong as they come too. She called out her now-ex stablemates for borderline bullying her when all she wanted was the best for them, then dismissed thoughts of going after Rhea Ripley and directly eyeballed IYO.

Babyface Bayley is back with a bang, and it feels fresh after she's spent several years as a heel. It was smart to get this jumpstarted ASAP after the Rumble, because Bayley would've only looked foolish for letting CTRL talk behind her back any longer.

Let's get stuck into this bad boy, people. These women are about to have one hell of a match.
