Most fans aren't going to like that double count out finish Bryan and Jey Uso worked for SmackDown's main event, and that's understandable. Think of this way though: Bryan will get that shot at Reigns come Fastlane. The plus side to this scenario is that WWE still have three more episodes to work with before then.

They're only keen to tell a story here - there's nothing bad about that.

Bryan challenging Roman is exhibition stuff anyway. It's also way better than anyone could've expected from arguably the least-wanted pay-per-view of the year. They had an absolute belter back at the same show in 2015, and they'll produce the goods again six years later whether WWE give them great material or not.

That count out saved Uso from a mauling at the hands of his cousin, gives the babyface more hoops to jump through and furthers Edge's moan about Bryan butting in into his issues in the first place. This is episodic TV, folks, so non-finishes are gonna' happen frequently anyway.
