3. The Tables Match Tease

Cesaro's tag-team with Shinsuke Nakamura has every chance of succeeding long-term if WWE don't trample all over their hopes in some sort of 'one and done' match at Extreme Rules. The tease of a Tables Match with New Day breathes fresh belief into the heel duo's chances of eventually getting a run as tag champs.

It's a good move too, because this quartet are capable of really good things with the added stipulation. Smartly, WWE also refrained from the satisfying crunch of someone going through the wood too early; they need to build anticipation for something like that, not give it away at the first hurdle.

This was fun stuff.

Kofi's match with Nakamura had flashes of brilliance, the post-match save from Big E made sense and both the implied gimmick and personnel involved will be a credit to the next pay-per-view. This segment was watertight from start to finish.
