2. AJ's Revenge Attack

There can't be many people clamouring for a Matt Riddle vs. 'King' Corbin feud. Not even Corbin himself seems that enthused by the prospect of it, probably because he knows he'd be WWE's sacrificial lamb for the 'Original Bro' at Extreme Rules before Riddle moves onto bigger things.

Could those "bigger things" be AJ Styles? It looks like it.

Styles ambushed Riddle after his win over John Morrison, and that bled neatly into the Intercontinental Title bout between AJ and Drew Gulak. On a side note, this seamless segment blurring thing WWE are trying right now is giving programming a nice flow. They should keep doing it.

A bitter heel like Styles should be taking every opening he can to attack a newcomer who embarrassed him previously too. Fingers crossed WWE realise that someone with Riddle's skill set needs to be higher up the card than feuding with Corbin.

Booking him to go after AJ's IC belt would create one of the best midcard feuds in recent memory.
