5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 14)

1. So Tedious

Bayley Bianca Belair

Bayley laughing at Bianca Belair's WrestleMania headlining performance and SmackDown Women's Title win is still dumb. All the giggling WWE seem obsessed with is misplaced and needs to stop before it kills her character completely; it's even worse that this segment ended so strongly.

Mean, serious Bayley is the best Bayley.

She's one million times more palatable when she cuts the crap and ignores her 'Ding Dong, Hello' presentation. Bayley has a good game face, but it's hidden behind all this immature b*llocks and pretence that Belair isn't something special. That, for the record, is a poor way to cast Bianca post-'Mania 37.

Speaking of Belair, there are only so many times fans can hear how happy she is to be here before that gets tedious too. Yours truly has a go at this booking every week, but it's deserved. WWE can't keep penning these women as paper-thin idiots who play rinse and repeat.
