5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 20)

3. Count Out? Nah, Knock Out!

Sami Zayn Shinsuke Nakamura

Sami Zayn trying to sneak a count out win over Shinsuke Nakamura is brilliant for multiple reasons. Firstly, it's just so in-character for the delusional git. Second, it absolutely wouldn't endear him to Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman or the rest of The Bloodline.

That's the beauty of it.

Ol' Sam Zayn got some egg on his face anyway. He tried to get Shin counted out, then almost got counted out himself before rushing head first into a meaty Kinshasa knee strike. That's fine, because Zayn can withstand this kind of loss without losing any sort of face with the weekly audience.

Christ knows where WWE wants to go with Nakamura (is he ever wrestling Reigns?!), but it's hard to argue with a cracking little TV match like this one. These guys worked magic back in the NXT days, and they showed they've still got that old chemistry here.
