5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 26)

Ups...

5. Short And To The Point

Baron Corbin Cameron Grimes

Cameron Grimes is now 2-0 on SmackDown after beating Hit Row's Ashante Adonis. Watch out, Jade Cargill. The former NXT man is coming for your lengthy win-loss record over on AEW TV! OK, probably not, but this is a decent start for Grimes on WWE's main roster.

Post-match, Baron Corbin (that swine!) ambushed Cameron to keep their issues ticking over. Basically, what started as a debut surprise squash for Grimes has turned into a full-blown rivalry. Good, because that's the right way to go. Corbs shouldn't have been expected to just stay quiet after being embarrassed.

No-one should be devastated about the plight of Hit Row either. They've been shockingly bad since returning to WWE under Triple H's watch, so this is really the best use of them. Cameron Grimes has a real shot of making it on SmackDown, meaning he's the priority.
