Yes, Shotzi needed to smash through some wins before challenging Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series, but this was terribly half-baked. Firstly, she won via roll-up, and that never makes babyfaces look strong or especially convincing to fans. Second, Raquel Rodriguez was a difference maker.

Who's fighting Ronda again?

Honestly, it'd be so much better if Rousey and Shayna Baszler were dominant in this division. Instead, Shayna is taking losses like some kind of gatekeeper for the champ, and that doesn't sound too fun if it's gonna be WWE's long-term strategy for the pair.

To top it all off, there's still no explanation as to why Shotzi and Raquel are even such great pals to begin with. Ronda and Baszler are together because of their shared MMA history and ass-kicking nature, whereas Rodriguez has Shotzi's back because...creative can't be arsed to think of a reason, sorry.
