5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 20)
1. Draft? What Draft?

As predicted, WWE don't give a rat's ass about the Draft they spent weeks hyping up in October.
New Day, Drew McIntyre and Asuka all gate-crashed Friday night's offering to hype their Survivor Series matches. That's...fine, because WWE have a pay-per-view to promote, but why the heck did they schedule things this way? Why not run the Draft earlier in the year so it doesn't clash with a show relying on Raw vs. SmackDown?
It's infuriating to see this happen every single year without change. Fans find it difficult to get excited for the Draft when they know picks won't actually matter - wrestlers will show up on rival brands to promote Survivor Series anyway. The whole thing is flawed from the start.
Hearing Xavier Woods claim that he and Kofi Kingston don't "check into the SmackDown hotel" these days was cute, but inaccurate. They were literally doing just that, and it hasn't been too long since they were full-timers on the show.
