5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 20)

4. Head Of The Table

Few get their characters like Roman Reigns does.

The 'Tribal Chief' is arguably the best in pro wrestling right now at staying true to his gimmick, and he showed why on SmackDown. Roman walked to the ring for a contract signing segment with Drew McIntyre, then demanded that Adam Pearce vacate his seat so he could sit at the head of the table.

That, dear friends, was absolutely fantastic stuff. It p*ssed off McIntyre (as it should), put a smarmy smirk on Paul Heyman's face and sold that Reigns truly believes he's some father figure for WWE as a whole. Pearce did a solid job of looking confused without wanting to irk the 'Big Dog' further as well.

This part of the show should've been skippable. It should've been standard stuff, and it shouldn't have been as good as it was. The truth is though that Roman and Drew are somehow pulling magic out of their arses and making this potentially special...
