5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE WrestleMania 41 - Night 2 (Results & Review)

3. Dirty Dom Gets His Flowers

Has Dominik Mysterio lowkey become a fan favorite? Or are fans just loving him ironically?

Mysterio captured the Intercontinental Championship Sunday night in a fun four-way match that featured some electric moments, most of which were courteous of Bron Breakker. The IC champ coming into the match, Breakker dominated large parts of the match with his combination of speed and power, including a spear from one announce desk to the other, spiking Carlito and ending his night.

But the story of the match belonged to Dirty Dom. Finn Balor crotched Mysterio just as he was going for a frogsplash on Bron, then focused his attack on Breakker. However, Dominik flew in with the frogsplash on both men to pin Finn and win his first main roster title.

Fun match with a memorable finish – though it would have been nice if the agents discussed the fact that the opener used almost exactly the same finish (wrestler jumps off the top rope to break up a pinfall and gets the pin themselves).
