5 Ups & 5 Downs For WWE Raw (11 Aug - Results & Review)

1. Iyo, Roxanne Crush It

Hats off to Iyo Sky and Roxanne Perez, thrust into a legit impromptu match Monday night due to Naomi not being able to wrestle, canceling the scheduled Women’s World Championship match against Sky.

Iyo and Roxanne proceeded to turn in a solid, fun match that built from a slow mat-based segment establishing parity to a full-fledged war between the former world champion and the Prodigy. Perez and Sky traded offense throughout, with Roxanne stringing together some killshots toward the end and nearly beating Iyo with a Shining Wizard.

Raquel Rodriguez kept Roxanne in the match as Sky mounted a comeback, but ultimately, it was the Kabuki Warriors and some miscommunication that led to Iyo’s downfall.

Of all the matches Monday night, this is the one to seek out and watch – a perfectly enjoyable, action-packed match that reminded fans why Iyo Sky rules and continued to showcase Roxanne Perez as a future singles star in WWE.

Additionally, if we get the Iyo/Rhea Ripley team-up, their matches against the Judgment Day now have a little added fuel.
