The New Day lost their World Tag Team Championship five weeks ago, ending a disappointing tag title reign. Since then, they’ve done little more than show up in backstage segments “mourning the death of the Raw tag division.”

To say it hasn’t set the world on fire would be an understatement.

Thankfully, on Monday night, the duo got in Penta’s face after he defeated Grayson Waller, leading to the luchador sending both men outside and then diving onto both. This should set up a tag match, which means Penta will need a partner, and with his brother Rey Fenix in a tag team of his own on SmackDown, it will be interesting to see who he grabs.

Regardless, that encounter should get us past this monthlong “mourning” angle and onto something different and (hopefully) better, so that will get a conditional “up” here.
