5 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 14)

Downs...

5. More Unnecessary Stipulations

Evil Uno 10 Jose The Assistant
AEW

What is with these unnecessary stipulations?

This week, Jose The Assistant invaded some Dark Order promo time and 10 challenged Rush to a match next week. If 10 wins, then Jose, Rush and pals must leave him alone "for good". Christ, this is just a lesser version of the match AEW set up between 10 and Andrade El Idolo that didn't happen.

It's not even like recruiting 10 would be some life-changing move for Jose and his team anyway, so what's the big deal? Meanwhile, instead of telling The Assistant to hit the bricks or kicking his head in, Evil Uno and the gang just stood around looking puzzled.

None of this is interesting. Sorry if that's a little too harsh, but the story veers between paper thin (Jose/Andrade/Rush want 10 for...reasons) and convoluted (all these stips). This is all very WCW, to tell the truth, and not in a good way.
