5 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 14)

1. Nobody Really Cares

Matt Hardy Sad
AEW

The AEW boss also needs to realise that some of these stories he's crowing about in the press are boring beyond belief. For example, Ethan Page beat Isiah Kassidy in a three-minute match to take ownership of Matt Hardy and Private Party's contracts. Great.

Where is this going, and why should people care?

This was Stokely Hathaway's grand plan after putting his Firm together at All Out?! Also, Matt sold the bout's result like he'd just been told the worst news ever. That doesn't wash, because this tale has been rushed and is totally uninteresting. It's never been interesting, in fact!

Consider The Firm AEW's very own nWo B-squad, folks. The group is already amassing members like it's the Boy Scouts, and nobody is really sure what their main goals are yet. That's awful storytelling, and it needs to stop. Give this nonsense some proper context or get it off TV.
