5 Ups & 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Dec 11)

Downs...

5. So NXT Is The Main Roster, Then

KUSHIDA Cameron Grimes
WWE.com

KUSHIDA Vs. Cameron Grimes is every other 2019 NXT feud you've ever seen, and it's so boring, but it won't be pointless, because KUSHIDA will probably get over a bit more by winning a damn good match. That's the purpose of all this, ultimately, but it's all so functional and unambitious.

Last week, KUSHIDA stole one over Grimes in an impromptu match. This week, Raul Mendoza was allowed an opportunity for revenge in a pretty OK 50/50 match that KUSHIDA interrupted. In the second main roster finish in as many weeks, Grimes, positively aghast at this development - shouldn't they teach this in the Performance Center, since it happens on the main roster all the bastard time? - succumbed to a roll-up. What next? Is Grimes going to avenge this by making KUSHIDA eat dog food? Is he going to blame each and every one of you for this recent loss of form? Are he and KUSHIDA going to thrash out their differences on Miz TV? Will they become a tag team because they are feuding, leading to wacky miscommunications and an NXT Tag Team Title reign?

Will he get his hat back?!

This is sh*t, Grimes is a geek, and NXT is far more like the main roster than anybody cares to admit.
